Installations:
Dream

“Dream” is an interpretation of flying in one’s dreams, with multiple layers of scenes from the marshes of Delaware, and a figure flying through the space. I based it upon a three-dimensional pedestal piece that I produced in 1978. The scale was small, but it was the beginning of me thinking about layered images.

“Dream” is constructed with transparent sheets, suspended and backlit. This installation was shown in my 2014–2015 exhibit at the Biggs Museum of Art, “The Line of Beauty.”
