Silver Gelatin Prints are printed archivally on 16" by 20" Kodak Elite fibre based paper. I do not number my prints. As Ansel Adams so eloquently said, the negative is the musical score and the print is the performance. I've found that over time my interpretation of a negative changes. All of the monochrome images were photographed using 4" by 5" large format cameras. Prints are signed and dated.
Color Prints are printed on Ilfochrome 16" by 20" material. This is the most permanent commercially available color print material available. Independent testing shows about a 5% dye loss over 100 years. I personally have prints that I produced in 1977 which have shown no fading.
Polaroid Emulsion Transfers are applied to Arches Cold Press Watercolor Paper. Each image is unique and non-reproduceable.. |
